BACKGROUND

The COOPCAFE cooperative was established in 2016, as an organizational opportunity after the closure of operations of another local organization in San Juan del Rio Coco, their associates had more than 15 years of experience in agronomic management of coffee, basic grains, and cacao. They are located in the department of Madriz, in the municipalities of San Juan del Río Coco and Telpaneca.
