Established in 2015 by 19 dedicated small producers, the cooperative has since expanded to encompass 53 passionate coffee growers, encompassing women, youth, and men. Together, they are committed to producing high-quality coffee, demonstrating a deep commitment to both their craft and the environment.

Nicaragua is a country that is near and dear to us in many ways. Martin Mayorga was born in Guatemala, and then moved to Managua, Nicaragua, where he grew up. As a child in Nicaragua, Martin would go with his father to buy green coffee beans from the marketplace to roast at home. Martin’s childhood in Nicaragua is the reason why Mayorga Organics exists today, with the purpose of eliminating systemic poverty through the responsible trade of organic foods.
