Since the moment we roasted our first batches of specialty coffee in 1997, we’ve focused on creating a balance of craft products with quality assurance and scalability. Our facilities have new state-of-the art equipment that allows us to maintain the quality and freshness that our farmers work so hard to achieve and our customers have grown to expect.
BEGINS AT THE FARM
Most companies in the food industry rely on traders' sourcing practices by purchasing "spot" product which is widely available in the market. Since the late 90's we've taken the extra effort to engage producers and agronomists directly to develop and secure the quality that deserved to carry our name. We also have continuous presence at each origin country, including our own operations in Nicaragua, Peru, and Costa Rica.
This is where many food companies would have a picture of a "food scientist" in a lab coat and they would brag about their in-house quality control protocols. We have food scientists. We have sophisticated equipment and fancy labs. They verify the importance of our continuous engagement and presence at the farms and mills, where we begin the process of assuring quality.
