ROASTING COFFEE

Since the moment we roasted our first batches of specialty coffee in 1997, we’ve focused on creating a balance of craft roasting with quality assurance and scalability.  We roast on the highest grade Probat and Diedrich industrial roasters, which are considered the best in the industry.  Our roasting equipment  goes through extensive after-market customization to manualize processes, improve controls, and create better heat retention.  These manualized machines are supervised and managed by our Roastmaster, Aflredo, who has been roasting with us since 1999.

Every batch of coffee that we roast is traceable back to the farm where it was grown and every step of our processes is managed with care for quality, consistency, and food safety.  Coffee goes directly from our roasting system through a de-stoner and magnet system and is immediately packaged in foil bags with one-way degassing valves.  We do not inventory roasted coffee and only produce to order.
